Job summary

OBE is hiring a Materials Handler to support a clean, orderly, and safe department while accurately recording data. The role schedule is typically Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:00pm, with responsibilities including following supervisor guidance, organizing inventory, returning items to correct locations, and assisting with picking for production.

Candidates should read simple instructions, perform basic math, and possess basic computer skills; lifting up to 75 lbs is required and teamwork is

Summary

The Materials Handler ensures department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety. The Materials Handler ensures the accurate recording of data. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the Production Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
• Assist with the physical organization of inventory
• Return inventory items to the proper locations
• Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production

Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet wearing safety boots from 8-10 hours a day
• Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, and reach constantly, and bend frequently
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
