Job summary

OBE is seeking a Materials Handler to help maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas while ensuring accurate data recording. Typical shift is Monday-Thursday, 6:00am–4:00pm, with responsibilities that support production flow.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ability to follow directions, basic math and computer skills, and reading a tape measure. You will contribute to inventory control and proper item placement within the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Summary

The Materials Handler ensures department cleanliness, orderliness, and safety. The Materials Handler ensures the accurate recording of data. The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Listen and follow the direction of the Production Supervisor, and take guidance from senior team members
• Assist with the physical organization of inventory
• Return inventory items to the proper locations
• Assist materials handlers with picking items required for production

Requirements

• Follow all safety policies & procedures as a prerequisite to employment

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet wearing safety boots from 8-10 hours a day
• Ability to lift, carry, twist, walk, and reach constantly, and bend frequently
• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
