Job summary

SPX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, kitting, cycle counting, picking, delivery, and shipment of materials in our HVAC Cooling facility in Dixon, IL.

You will help maintain safe operations and accurate SAP records while moving parts through the production flow. The role requires 1–2 years of forklift and material handling experience, plus the ability to read drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of forklift experience.
• 1–2 years of material handling experience.
• Ability to read.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• Material Movement: Load and unload trailers with a forklift; read drawings, BOMs, and kit lists; pick and pack parts for shipping.
• Schedule shipments via USPS, UPS, FEDEX or other third-party freight service; transfer parts to production areas.
• Maintain inventory levels by labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies; verify items and quantities on packing slips.
• Develop bills of lading and delivery forms; maintain accurate SAP data; conduct regular cycle counts.
