Job summary

SPX Technologies in Springfield, MO is seeking an experienced Material Handler to manage day-to-day inventory and yard operations in an outdoor environment. You will verify receipts, store material, and support cycle counting while working with a dedicated team.

The role requires accurate SAP transactions, adherence to safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. teamwork and attention to detail are essential for timely production support and shipping activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of relative experience or a college degree in a related field.
• Onsite – manufacturing plant environment, with potential exposure to all types of weather, including excessive heat, excessive cold, and excessive noise.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; 50+ pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and Material Management
• Place purchase orders in the Demand Planning System (SAP) and coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts and monitor material flow through production.
• Direct Material Handler activities as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Production Support and Scheduling
• Maintain the production schedule to ensure timely workflow.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support overall production and logistics efficiency.
