Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Material Handler to manage the day-to-day material handling and inventory accuracy in the Springfield, MO yard. You will receive materials from suppliers, post receipts in SAP, store items in designated locations, perform weekly cycle counts, and support outbound shuttle loads to the plant.

The role is outdoors in an open-yard environment within a larger yard team. Strong attention to detail, accuracy in system transactions, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of relative experience or a related college degree preferred.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and material flow in the offsite yard.
• Place purchase orders in SAP and coordinate shipping/receiving.
• Maintain cycle counts and target 100% inventory accuracy.
• Direct yard activities and ensure safe, orderly operations.
• Support production scheduling and maintain the production calendar.
• Assist with other duties to support logistics and production.
