Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a material handler to load, transport, and stage materials in the plant, supporting large-scale HVAC-related production. You will operate in a safety-conscious environment, utilize SAP for scheduling and inventory accuracy, and contribute to efficient production flow.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading/writing skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Sign-on bonus available and benefits provided per company policy.

Qualifications

• The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence. Communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials.
• Review, maintain and provide comments to Production Schedule from SAP
• Correct Inventory Errors in SAP based on part availability
• Enter and validate production data using SAP
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on weekly inventory cut sheet.
• Other duties as assigned.
