Job summary

Gentex is seeking a Material Handler to move material into and out of the warehouse using lift trucks and the Gentex inventory and warehouse control system. You will pick, deliver, receive, and ship materials, perform transactions, and help maintain inventory accuracy and safety in a controlled environment.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, counting cycles, supporting team goals, and ensuring timely material flow to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate all material handling equipment including industrial lift trucks.
• Basic arithmetic.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing using the Gentex system.
• Perform receiving and shipping functions using the Gentex system.
• Handle inventory receipts, issues, put-aways, and shipments in the Gentex system.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and store material.
• Conduct area housekeeping and assist in stock replenishment.
• Support team goals and assist in other areas as needed.
