Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to move material safely and efficiently within the warehouse. The role uses Gentex inventory and warehouse control systems to pick, receive, ship, and track materials while maintaining high accuracy and safety standards.

You will operate forklifts, perform counts, and support team objectives in a quality-driven environment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ years in manufacturing or warehousing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Ability to operate all material handling equipment and obtain certification.
• Basic arithmetic and good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing as directed using the Gentex system.
• Perform receiving, shipping, and related inventory transactions in the Gentex system.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and move material.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform periodic cycles counts and reconciliations.
• Assist team members to meet production goals and maintain safe work practices.
• Follow safety policies and promote a safe, compliant workplace.
