Job summary

Gentex is seeking a Material Handler to move materials into and out of the warehouse using forklifts and the Gentex inventory system. You will perform receiving/shipping, cycle counts, and physical inventories while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The role requires up-to-date forklift certification, at least 1 year in manufacturing or material handling, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Teamwork and reliable attendance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate all material handling equipment.
• Moderate to heavy physical lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing using the Gentex inventory and warehouse control system.
• Perform receiving and shipping functions using the Gentex inventory and warehouse control system.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile variances; investigate inventory history.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and move material.
• Assist team members and support production as needed.
• Perform physical inventories as scheduled.
