Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Material Handler to move material in and out of the warehouse using forklift equipment and the Gentex inventory system. The role emphasizes accurate receiving, shipping, and inventory control in a safety-conscious environment.

You'll operate material handling equipment, pick and deliver material to production, and conduct cycle counts while maintaining strong teamwork and adherence to procedures. The position is on-site with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment.
• Must be able to follow work instructions with accuracy.
• Basic math and written/verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Pick and deliver material to manufacturing using the Gentex warehouse system.
• Perform receiving and shipping functions in the Gentex system.
• Handle inventory receipts, issues, put-aways, and shipments.
• Operate material handling equipment to load/unload trucks and move material.
• Assist with periodic cycle counts and reconcile variances.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety policies.
