Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to operate powered industrial trucks and manage order fulfillment for customer shipments. The role involves picking, receiving, putaway, packing, and verifying orders within a safety‑minded, team‑oriented environment.

You will use WMS to input orders, verify stock, and ensure accurate packaging and labeling for shipping. This is a 3rd shift position with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in a fast‑paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience; six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications, good record keeping, good listening and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Picking: operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy; convey picked orders to packing/shipping.
• Receiving: operate trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking; inspect and label products; place into correct locations.
• Putaway: move product to designated areas and record locations in inventory system.
• SPC Check/Pack Checking: wrap and pack products, label with packing slips, load onto conveyor, verify orders.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shippingarea.

Shift:

• 3rd: M-F, 7:00pm-3:30am

Equipment Knowledge:

Sit-Down Forklift

Stand-Up/Reach Forklift

Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

• Picking

Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.

Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy

Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

• Receiving

Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking

Opens crates and inspects product

Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures

Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

• Putaway

Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received

Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves

Ensures product is placed into accurate location

• SPC Check/Pack Checking

Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping

Labels boxes with packing slip

Loads boxes into conveyor belt

Verifies orders for accuracy

General

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor

Follows standard operating and safety procedures

Keeps area safe, clean, and organized

Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.

Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.

Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
