Job summary

Dal-Tile in the United States, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, seeks a warehouse specialist to operate powered industrial trucks, pick customer orders, and move stock to packing or shipping. This role supports receiving, putaway, and packing in a fast-paced environment with safety as a priority.

Shift is 3rd, Monday–Friday, 7:00pm–3:30am. Requires 1+ year warehouse experience, a high school diploma, and forklift certification. Dal-Tile offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6–12 months of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications, record keeping, listening and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders and move to packing/shipping.
• Receive products, inspect crates, and prepare for stocking.
• Putaway items into designated locations and update inventory systems.
• Wrap, pack, label, and load boxes for shipping; verify orders.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized area.

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Shift

• 3rd: M-F, 7:00pm-3:30am

Equipment Knowledge

Responsibilities

• Picking
  • Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
  • Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy
  • Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas
• Receiving
  • Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking
  • Opens crates and inspects product
  • Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures
  • Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location
• Putaway
  • Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received
  • Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves
  • Ensures product is placed into accurate location
• SPC Check/Pack Checking
  • Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping
  • Labels boxes with packing slip
  • Loads boxes into conveyor belt
  • Verifies orders for accuracy
• General
  • Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor
  • Follows standard operating and safety procedures
  • Keeps area safe, clean, and organized

Qualifications

• Performs other related duties as required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
