Job summary

Dal-Tile in Sunnyvale, Texas is seeking a Material Handler III to operate sit-down and reach-truck equipment for 3rd shift. You will pick customer orders, receive, put away, pack, and ship products while ensuring accuracy and inventory integrity.

Responsibilities include using the WMS to record movements, inspecting crates, labeling products, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Previous warehouse experience and forklift certification are required, with growth opportunities within Mohawk

Qualifications

• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills; good record keeping and listening skills; accurate measurement; English speaking ability.
• Ability to work safely and conscientiously.
• Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Picking and assembling customer orders from stock.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to move and palletize orders.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing/shipping areas.
• Receive products into the warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Open crates and inspect products; apply labels as procedures dictate.
• Place products into correct warehouse locations; perform putaway tasks.
• Wrap and pack products for shipping; label with packing slips; load onto conveyors.
• Monitor processes and follow safety procedures; keep work area clean and organized.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shippingarea.

Shift:

• 3rd: M-F, 7:00pm-3:30am

Equipment Knowledge:

Sit-Down Forklift

Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

• Picking

Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.

Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy

Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

• Receiving

Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking

Opens crates and inspects product

Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures

Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

• Putaway

Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received

Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves

Ensures product is placed into accurate location

• SPC Check/Pack Checking

Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping

Labels boxes with packing slip

Loads boxes into conveyor belt

Verifies orders for accuracy

General

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor

Follows standard operating and safety procedures

Keeps area safe, clean, and organized

Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.

Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.

Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
