Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Material Handler III in Sunnyvale, TX to operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to pick, pack, and ship customer orders. The role requires 1+ year in distribution/warehouse work, knowledge of WMS, and a commitment to safety.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma, be able to communicate in English, and be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience; minimum 6 months to 1 year sit-down forklift, reach truck and order picker experience.
• Good oral and written communications; ability to understand and speak English.
• Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Must be able to work in a safe conscientious manner.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders and convey to packing/shipping areas.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble orders and palletize.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS) and verify stock.
• Perform putaway and receive product; inspect crates and label accordingly.
• Wrap, pack, label and load products; ensure order accuracy.
• Keep area safe, clean, and organized; follow SOPs.

Primary Objective:

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shippingarea.

Shift:

• 3rd: M-F, 6:00pm-2:30am

Equipment Knowledge:

Sit-Down Forklift

Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Responsibilities:

• Picking

Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.

Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy

Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

• Receiving

Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking

Opens crates and inspects product

Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures

Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location

• Putaway

Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received

Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves

Ensures product is placed into accurate location

• SPC Check/Pack Checking

Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping

Labels boxes with packing slip

Loads boxes into conveyor belt

Verifies orders for accuracy

General

Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor

Follows standard operating and safety procedures

Keeps area safe, clean, and organized

Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak English.

Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.

Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
