Job summary

Atkore in Tampa, FL is seeking a Material Handler II for either night or day shifts. You will pack finished goods, monitor product quality, support startup and changeovers, and keep the work area clean and organized.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on production support, including operating machinery, verifying conformance to specs, and collaborating with supervisors to reach site goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications.
• Update hour by hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately
