Job summary

Atkore in Tampa, FL is seeking a Material Handler II for the night shift. You will pack finished goods, monitor product quality, and assist with start-ups or changeovers while keeping the work area clean and organized.

You'll handle bundle packaging per specs, operate production machinery, support quality control, and collaborate with teammates to meet site goals, all while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or general labor preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications.
• Update hour by hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Operate and observe machinery during production, assist with Quality Control duties utilizing quality tools.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
