Responsibilities include auditing orders, identifying shortages, and coordinating with production leaders. Requires 1 year of warehouse experience and the ability to operate material handling equipment after certification.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail when reviewing work orders and inventory data.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, simple formulas, shortage lists).
• Effective communication with production supervisors, planners, and warehouse staff.
• Ability to lead, coach, and coordinate the work of a small team.
• Solid understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, putaway, picking, and material flow.
• Basic computer skills for logging transactions and tracking materials.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment after certification.

Responsibilities

• Audit work orders for accuracy, completeness, and material readiness prior to release.
• Identify material shortages and summarize shortages at the job or order level.
• Communicate shortage status and material issues to production leaders.
• Coordinate daily job priorities with production leadership to ensure materials are staged.
• Lead and guide material handlers in assigned areas, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Support receiving, putaway, picking, and material movement activities as needed.
• Monitor material flow on the production floor and prevent interruptions.
• Manage Kanban replenishment and flow for production lines and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with root cause analysis of recurring material issues and suggest improvements.
• Uphold 5S and Lean standards in assigned areas.
