CEVA Logistics in Tallapoosa, GA is seeking a Material Handler II to support warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory control. You will handle picking, packing, staging, and loading while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in warehousing, and forklift certification. You will work in a fast-paced team environment with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; typically at least two years of warehousing or related logistics experience.
• Forklift Certification typically required within 3 to 6 months of hire; Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools; basic proficiency in internet, web-based and job specific software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Execute manual labor functions such as picking inventory, counting cargo, loading goods; operate pallet jack.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the area; prepare and assemble orders.
• Sort and place materials on racks and shelves according to size, type, product code and related characteristics.
• Potential to serve as a lead operator in smaller teams; assist with training new hires.
• Operate forklift when required and fully trained.
• Complete forms, labels and documents to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Identify operational concerns and assist with resolving; monitor warehouse maintenance tasks.
