Job summary

CEVA Logistics, a global logistics leader in Atlanta, is seeking a Freight Handler Forklift Operator II. You will support warehouse operations, handling inventory, loading, and receiving with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus typically 2 years warehousing or related logistics experience, or successful rotation program.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; state driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent internal and external customer service; communicate clearly and assist with operations as needed.
• Perform manual labor: pick inventory, count cargo, stage and load goods; use hand truck or pallet jack; operate hand tools for crates and packing.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials; prepare and assemble orders; move materials between areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, pallets or bins by size, type, code; train new hires or transfers as needed.
• Operate forklift when required and fully trained; support safe, efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete forms, labels and documentation to ensure inventory accuracy and successful deliveries; monitor material flows.
• Identify operational or service concerns and assist with resolutions; maintain warehouse cleanliness and equipment care.
