Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Clayton, IN is seeking a Material Handler / Operator II to support warehouse operations, inventory control, and loading activities. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following safety procedures and delivering reliable service to internal and external customers.

The role requires forklift certification and experience in warehousing; responsibilities include order assembly, material handling, and coordinating storage and distribution within the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and warehouse experience or completion of a rotation program.
• Forklift Certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; driver's license preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools; general software familiarity; forklift certification readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; assist with operations as needed.
• Perform manual labor: pick inventory, count cargo, stage and load goods; use hand tools.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials; prepare and assemble orders.
• Sort and place materials on racks and pallets according to type, size, and code.
• Assist with training new hires and serve as lead operator in small teams when needed.
• Operate forklift when required and ensure accurate documentation for inventory and delivery.
