Job summary

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork within contract logistics. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years warehousing experience, forklift certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; typically 5+ years warehousing or logistics experience.
• Credentials: Forklift certification usually required within 3–6 months; valid driver's license preferred.
• Skills: Operate hand and power tools, basic web/software familiarity; ability to obtain forklift certification when required.
• Characteristics: Prioritize and assign work; train and guide staff; strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; assist with operations as necessary.
• Lead staff; provide work direction; train employees in operational areas.
• Perform forklift operations for heavy and oversized pieces; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate receipts, storage, and distribution; organize materials on racks and bins.
• Prepare orders, pick/count materials, and move loads between operations or trucks.
