Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Material Handler/Operator II in Kansas City, MO. The role supports receiving, storage, and distribution of materials in a fast-paced warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient operations and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years warehousing or related logistics experience.
• Forklift certification within 3–6 months of hire; valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform picking, counting cargo, staging and loading goods; use hand truck or pallet jack.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the area.
• Prepare and assemble orders; move materials between receiving/production and storage areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks/pallets according to product characteristics.
• Assist with training new hires or transfers as a lead operator when needed.
• Operate forklift when required and fully trained.
• Complete forms, labels and documents to ensure inventory accuracy; monitor and track goods.
• Identify and report any operational concerns and assist with maintenance tasks.
