Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Distribution Center Operator to perform material handling duties across inbound, outbound, returns, acquisitions, and other DC functions. You will move merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy, safety, and quality standards, and you may train teammates in assigned areas.

The role requires operating RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking devices, along with following established procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Accurately matches item numbers, quantities, and shipping docs.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintains safe work environment and handles merchandise properly.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems and technologies (RF, WMS).
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Support training and development of team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping docs with goods.
• Process inbound/outbound shipments and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking equipment as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, and discrepancy resolution.
• Load and unload trailers and route trucks; ensure protection from damage.
