Job summary

Litehouse Foods is seeking a motivated Material Handler II to join our 100% employee-owned company. The role is based in Lowell, MI on the 2nd shift with starting pay of $19.97/hr and an additional $1.50/hr for the 2nd shift.

You will operate powered industrial trucks, pick customer orders, and maintain accurate inventory using scanners and internal systems. A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (we'll provide certification if needed).
• Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
• Ensure proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
• Uphold and follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
