Job summary

Litehouse Foods in Lowell, MI is hiring a Material Handler II to join our refrigerated operations. You will operate forklifts, pick and stack orders, and maintain accurate inventory using handheld scanners, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (we'll provide certification if needed).
• Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments safely.
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
• Ensure proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through housekeeping duties.
• Uphold Food Safety and Quality policies at all times; work overtime as required.
