Job summary

Litehouse Foods is seeking a motivated Material Handler II in Lowell, MA. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks, picking and packing customer orders, receiving vendor shipments, and maintaining inventory records in a refrigerated environment. The team emphasizes ownership, teamwork, and community impact.

Starting pay is $19.97/hr with a second-shift differential of $1.50/hr. Biweekly pay, overtime and weekend work may be required, with comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (we'll provide certification if needed).
• Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
• Ensure proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
• Uphold and follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
