Litehouse Foods is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler II to join our team in Lowell, MI on the 1st shift. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour in a 100% employee-owned company with a strong reputation for community leadership and teamwork.

You will operate powered industrial trucks, pick and stack orders, maintain accurate inventory with handheld scanners, and uphold Food Safety standards. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (certification provided if needed).
• Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
• Ensure proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
• Uphold and follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
