Job summary

Litehouse Foods is hiring a Material Handler II for our Lowell, MI facility on the 3rd shift. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour with shift differentials of $1.50 per hour for 2nd shift and $3 per hour for 3rd/D/C shifts. Overtime and weekends required.

You will operate powered industrial trucks, pick and stack orders, maintain inventory records, and follow Food Safety and Quality policies. We offer benefits including 401(k) matching, health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred (certification provided if needed).
• Experience in a cool, refrigerated environment.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
• Ensure proper pallet configurations and stacking patterns to meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
• Uphold and follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
