Job summary

Johnstone Supply, a leading HVACR distributor in North America, is seeking a Material Handler II to support receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control. The role emphasizes safe operation of forklifts and efficient warehouse processes within our Joliet, IL location.

The position requires forklift certification, ability to follow procedures, and a team-oriented mindset. Mon–Fri schedule with daytime hours and opportunities for growth in a multi-branch network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ years related experience and/or training.
• Forklift certification is required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) safely to locate and move products.
• Receive product by unloading trucks and verify condition.
• Ensure accurate shipments by inspecting freight, packing lists, and paperwork.
• Pack, label, and ship orders to minimize damage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and data entry.
