Job summary

Phoenix Metals is seeking a Warehouse Associate to supervise and perform metals processing and distribution tasks. This role involves operating equipment, handling inventory, and supporting loading/unloading activities in a fast-paced plant environment.

The candidate should have 0-5 years of warehousing experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to meet MVR criteria. Training for equipment certification and safety compliance will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Able to meet MVR criteria per regulations.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain certification to operate motorized equipment.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Basic measurement and math skills required.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to make sound decisions and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and fill customer orders.
• Unload incoming material and load trucks.
• Tag material and document accordingly.
• Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Spot checks and inventory tagging.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Potentially drive local non-DOT deliveries.
• Report irregularities to supervisor for direction.
