Job summary

Industrial Metal Supply is seeking a Material Handler to support our warehouse operations in Phoenix. You will pull, pack and wrap metal bar, sheet, plate and tube for will call orders, and use a forklift to move material safely.

Training is provided through a detailed 7-week program. You will learn our inventory system, verify dimensions with tape measure, calipers or micrometers, and uphold strict safety and quality standards daily.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6 months to 1 year material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a metal manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack and wrap material for will call orders.
• Operate forklift to move material safely.
• Verify material dimensions with tape measure, calipers or micrometers.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Adhere to the Quality System and support safety initiatives.
