Job summary

Industrial Metal Supply is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Phoenix, AZ to move materials through the order fulfillment process, operate cutting equipment, and ensure accurate, safe handling of products. You will receive, stock, pull, package, and load items, while maintaining housekeeping and following quality standards.

Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year in material handling, good teamwork and communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced metal environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6 months to 1 year of material handling experience preferred in metal manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follows all Company Safety Rules.
• Knows product locations in warehouse facilities and material handling procedures.
• Locates and pulls material using forks, order picker, and related equipment.
• Verifies material size with calipers, tape measure, or color-coding system.
• Ensures pulled material meets quality standards and documents it.
• Uses proper tagging and stocking procedures; handles materials by lot and heat codes.
• Assists in stocking and storing materials per company policies.
• Operates cutting equipment safely (saws) and maintains housekeeping.
• Performs other duties as required.
