Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler I to move materials, particularly glass and metal, within the plant and support efficient production. You will perform on/off-loading, read work orders, and help maintain safety and quality on the line.

This entry-level role offers starting pay at $24 per hour and a pathway to develop in a growing manufacturing organization with strong training and production teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Prior production/manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand 8-10 hours daily on concrete floors.

Responsibilities

• Move material including glass and/or metal between locations to expedite production.
• Load and unload products from tables, racks, trucks, or crates.
• Read work orders and follow safety and quality standards.
• Label and tag products and prepare packages for shipment.
