Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Material Handler I to move material such as glass and metal throughout the plant, aiding in expediting products. You will work under the Production Supervisor to ensure safe, accurate handling and timely flow of materials.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and problem solving, with on/off-loading duties and basic measurement tasks to support production efficiency.

Qualifications

• This role requires attention to safety, quality and efficiency.
• Strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
• Ability to read orders and follow production standards.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Comfort working on concrete floors for 8–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Move material including glass and metal between positions to expedite production.
• On/off-load product from tables, rolling racks, trucks or crates.
• Read work orders and follow safety and quality standards.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read measurements and use a tape measure accurately.
