Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler I to move materials, including glass and metal, within the plant to expedite production. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability as core strengths.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize with deadlines; overtime as required.
• Work performed inside a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day on concrete floor.
• Noise levels can be moderate to high.
• Plant climate conditions vary with region.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Read and interpret basic measurements with a tape measure.
• Adhere to provided quality standards for customers.
