Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center material handler to support inbound, outbound, returns, and acquisitions operations. You will process and move merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, sorting, stocking, picking, packing, staging, and shipping, using RF scanners and WMS systems, and ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including safely lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, store returns, warranty merchandise, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, WMS, and other warehouse technology as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution procedures.
• Load and unload trailers, route trucks, and freight shipments while ensuring merchandise is secured and protected from damage.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement as needed.
• Process warranty merchandise, batteries, recalls, non-stock items, unsaleable merchandise, and vendor return goods per policy.
• Follow hazardous material handling procedures per safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while completing assigned warehouse tasks and workflows.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
