Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling is required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Forklift operations experience preferred (3–6 months).
• Proficiency with computerized warehouse systems.
• Clamp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and move materials within division, plant, or warehouse.
• Load and safely unload freight.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, handheld scanners, and computer terminals.
• Perform forklift operations duties.
• Verify incoming material against documents for accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records in the computer system.
• Assemble, pack or pick materials, and kit materials.
• Perform counts for physical inventory, cycle counts, and shipping/receiving accuracy.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Move materials using carts and electric pallet jacks.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and secure.
