Job summary

Superior Industrial Solutions Inc. seeks a Material Handler for our Old Hickory, TN facility on a full-time, first shift schedule (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) with possible overtime.

Responsibilities include moving products, reading paperwork, labeling, and preparing shipments using a forklift with appropriate PPE. Requirements include a High School Diploma, strong safety mindset, forklift certification (training provided), and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Forklift certification (training provided) or valid certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team.

Responsibilities

• Move products into and out of pails, drums, and totes as directed using transfer pumps and hoses.
• Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions.
• Pull product samples and submit to Lab for quality control.
• Label containers and secure closures for safe handling.
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment.
• Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes.
• Operate a forklift safely to move materials.
• Wear required PPE and keep work area clean and orderly.
• Lift and move up to 55 lbs as needed.
• Cross-train in shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, and yard operations.
