Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a warehouse associate to support its distribution center in Texas. You will perform inbound and outbound processes, inspect and stage merchandise, match shipping documents, and operate RF scanners and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and productivity.

This role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and the ability to learn warehouse systems and technologies. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment and handle merchandise safely.
• Learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, acquisitions, and vendor returns according to policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, WMS, and related warehouse tech.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations, shelving, and reserve storage areas.
• Load/unload trailers, route trucks, and ensure merchandise is secured and undamaged.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement.
• Process warranty merchandise, recalls, and non-stock items according to policy.
• Follow hazardous material handling and safety procedures.
