Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Houston is seeking a warehouse associate to perform distribution center material handling duties supporting Inbound, Outbound, Returns, and related operations. You will process, move, and store merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include receiving, unloading, selecting, packing, staging, and shipping merchandise with RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking tools. A willingness to learn and experience with automotive parts are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including but not limited to safely lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, store returns, warranty merchandise, acquisitions inventory, and vendor return according to O’Reilly policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other warehouse technology as required.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution procedures.
