Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a Material Handler I for 2nd shift at the Horn Lake, MS distribution center. You will move materials, load freight, and operate forklifts, scanners, and related equipment to keep the warehouse running efficiently.

You’ll track inventory in the computer system, assist with packing and picking, and participate in cycle counts and stock rotation. A high school diploma or GED and English proficiency are required, with safety-focused work habits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in material handling functions.
• Demonstrated ability to speak, read and write English.
• Proven ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
• Working knowledge of computerized warehouse systems.
• Clamp experience is desired; forklift ops preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and load materials within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, scanners and computer terminals.
• Verify inbound material against documents for accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records in the system.
• Assist with packing, picking and kit assembly as needed.
• Support cycle counts and shipping/receiving accuracy.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and clean work areas.
• Move materials with carts and electric pallet jacks.
• Follow safety rules and security procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Material Handler I- (2nd Shift 11:30 am to 8:00 pm)

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of office product solutions, has an opportunity available for a Material Handler I - 2nd Shift to join our Distribution Center located in Horn Lake, MS facility.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and move materials within division, plant, or warehouse.


• Load and safely unload freight.


• Operative all material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, hand trucks, handheld scanners, and computer terminals.


• May verify incoming material against accompanying documents to determine completeness and accuracy.


• Maintain inventory records in the computer system.


• May assemble, pack or pick materials, and kit materials.


• Perform counting actives for physical inventory, cycle count, shipping or receiving accuracy.


• Ensure proper stock rotation.


• Includes riding a cart and electric pallet jack.


• Move or remove materials to/from the appropriate storage area.


• Maintain clean, neat and orderly work areas, adhere to all safety rules and follow all established security procedures


• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.


• Experience in the material handling function.


• Demonstrated ability to speak, read and write English.


• Proven ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.


• Working knowledge of computerized warehouse systems.


• Clamp experience is desired.


• Must have at least 3-6 months forklift operations preferred.
