Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions is seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician to perform shipping, receiving, and inventory control duties in a manufacturing environment. You will perform quality checks on shipments, locate and pull parts, stock kanbans, and pack orders.

Forklift operation and use of shipping software are part of daily duties, with attention to accuracy and safety. Qualifications include a high school diploma, basic warehousing knowledge, and the ability to teach others

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of shipping/receiving/warehouse processes.
• Previous lift truck experience preferred.
• Organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload.
• Ability to teach others with compassion and understanding of diverse learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Use spray foam and pre-shaped foam inserts to secure items in shipping boxes.
• Process domestic UPS and FedEx orders via shipping software and ensure correct labeling and postage.
• Unpack returned items, verify condition, and initiate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.
• Receive supplier deliveries, verify against purchase orders, inspect condition, and process into inventory.
• Safely operate forklifts for moving large and heavy items.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

• Warehouse technician duties performed in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Manual dexterity tasks, use of hand and small power tools.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects up to 50 lbs.; standing for extended periods; reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, or crouching as required.
• Navigate lift trucks safely around others in a manufacturing environment.
