Job summary

Titan Production Equipment, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You will assist in unloading, inspecting, and delivering materials, and help prepare items for shipment.

Strong attention to safety and teamwork is essential; duties include forklift movement, inventory updates, and adhering to procedures to ensure accurate material handling.

Qualifications

• Basic warehouse and inventory concepts with safety awareness.
• Experience handling materials and following PO verification.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving incoming materials and verify against purchase orders.
• Unloads trucks; inspects items for damage and reports discrepancies.
• Utilize computerized inventory systems to track stock levels.
• Maintain adequate inventory of warehouse supplies.
• Deliver materials to departments with proper authorization.
• Prepare crates and items for shipping; label and tag items correctly.
• May operate forklift to move items within warehouse and plant.
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines and improve processes with the team.
• Comply with HSE regulations and safety procedures.

Position Summary: Performs a variety of duties in shipping, receiving, and/or warehouse

Job Description

• Basic understanding of warehouse layout and how to locate material


• Assists in receiving incoming materials, supplies and equipment. Unloads trucks, compares received items to purchase order to verify accuracy and quantity of shipment. Inspects materials for damage and defects and escalates issues to Supervisor. Uncrates and assembles materials if directed and removed and disposes of unneeded packing materials


• Utilizes computerized inventory systems


• Maintain adequate inventory of warehouse supplies


• Assures material discrepancies are handled in a timely manner


• Assuring accurate issues on material request and required systems processing occurs


• Ability to work in basic computer programs


• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions


• Delivers materials to appropriate departments accurately and obtains proper authorization of delivered materials


• Assists in preparing crates and other items to be shipped


• Makes sure that items are properly tagged and labeled


• May drive forklift to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment


• Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines


• Complies with all HSE regulations and requirements


• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department

Preferred Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent preferred and/or training


• Minimum three (3) years industrial experience


• Knowledge of inventory parts and basic inventory management

Physical Strain

• Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights


• Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds


• Must be able to work under pressure


• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment
