Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Material Handler at our Maple Grove Service Center in Maple Grove, MN or Chestnut Service Center in Minneapolis, MN. Starting pay is $28.91 per hour, with 7:00 am–3:30 pm shift.

The role involves receiving, stocking, order filling, and material handling in a safety‑conscious environment. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, putting away materials, tracking in the system, and preparing shipping paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL is preferred and can be obtained within 6 months.
• Forklift operator certification preferred with experience and computer skills.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, work indoors/outdoors in dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and unload carrier trucks.
• Put away stock and non-stock materials in designated locations.
• Fill material orders for field operations and stage materials.
• Track materials in the database and manage shipping paperwork.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and process credits for returns.
• Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety rules.
