Xcel Energy is seeking a Material Handler at Maple Grove, MN or Minneapolis, MN locations. The role involves unloading carrier trucks, receiving stock and non-stock materials, and putting away items.

You will fill field orders, stage materials, and track stock in our database while ensuring accurate paperwork. The position requires forklift operation, safety focus, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in various environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A preferred or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Forklift operator certification preferred with experience and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloading carrier trucks and receiving materials (stock & non-stock).
• Put away materials and stock in assigned or random locations.
• Fill material orders for field and physically stage materials.
• Track materials in the database and handle shipping paperwork.
• Load/unload material delivery trucks and process credits for returned materials.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety rules at all times.
