Job summary

Oxbo in New York, NY is seeking a forklift operator to move materials within the manufacturing area, both inside the facility and outdoors, using a hand truck or forklift, and to complete the required paperwork. Candidates must have proven forklift experience in an industrial setting, follow written and verbal instructions, wear PPE, and be detail oriented.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED; BOCES or trade-school training is acceptable.

Will transport material to various departments within manufacturing area- both inside the facility and outdoors (using hand truck and/or tow motor /forklift) and complete appropriate paperwork.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE SAFELY OPERATING A FORKLIFT IN AN INDUSTRIAL SETTING.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and work safely.
• Must be detail oriented.

Education: High school diploma/GED required, BOCES or trade-school required or equivalent combination of on-the-job training and education.

$20-$24/hr

Pay varies dependent on experience, demonstrated skill, internal equity, and shift.
