• Forklift Operation & Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and industrial trucks to lift, stack, transport, and position materials, equipment, or products.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, trailers, or other lifting devices in areas such as leaf processing, shipping, receiving, or off-site warehouses.
• Load outgoing products onto tractor trailers in accordance with shipping schedules.
• Weigh materials or products, recording weights on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Organize and stack materials in designated areas to maintain an efficient material flow.
• Daily Equipment Inspections & Maintenance: Perform and complete pre-operation checklists to ensure equipment is in proper working condition before each shift.
• Immediately report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the Facilities Maintenance team.
• Monitor and document lift truck usage and maintenance needs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Report all incidents, including near-misses or safety violations, to the supervisor promptly.
