Job summary

Neenah Foundry Company in Medley, FL is seeking a Material Handler – Shipping Yard to ensure safe, efficient handling of castings in our outdoor yard. You will load, unload, stage, and organize heavy cast iron products to meet shipping schedules and customer orders.

You will operate forklifts, inspects castings before shipment, and maintain a clean, safe yard. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or shipping yard environment preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Forklift operation experience required (certification a plus).
• Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow shipping paperwork.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Description

The Material Handler – Shipping Yard is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of castings in our outdoor shipping yard. This role plays a critical part in loading, unloading, staging, and organizing heavy cast iron products to meet shipping schedules and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
