Job summary

Olympic Steel in Bartlett, IL is seeking a Material Handler to support production operations. The role includes moving WIP material on the floor, staging finished goods, truck loading, and handling raw materials with occasional administrative paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and the ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

• Proper use and care of precision instruments.
• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Move work-in-progress material on the production floor and assist with finished goods staging.
• Handle raw material receiving, preparation, and paperwork for materials on the floor.
• Operate forklift, use handheld plasma, and other warehouse equipment; manage scrap parts.
