Job summary

Kao USA, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler for our West Chester, OH distribution center. This role focuses on inbound disposition, putaway, replenishment, and order picking with emphasis on inventory accuracy and safety.

The position runs 1st shift M-F 6:00am–2:30pm with mandatory overtime when needed. Benefits include medical on day one, 401(k) match, and paid time off; salary starts at $18–$21 per hour plus a corporate bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or ongoing GED pursuit.
• 1+ year warehouse experience with forklift operations.
• Experience with container unloads preferred.
• Familiar with RF scanning devices and stretch wrapping.
• A flexible, positive team player with safety focus.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely following established procedures.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with inbound material disposition and SKU/batch segregation.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and assist cycle counts.
• Pack/label items, load trucks per DOT requirements.
